About the Role
We are looking for a PCB Engineer to join our highly skilled R&D team. You will work alongside the technical director and R&D team to create high quality PCB boards for our lighting consoles.
What You’ll Do:
- Schematic entry,
- Library part creation,
- DRC maintenance and setup,
- PCB component placement,
- Communicate with mechanical, electronic and compliance engineering
- PCB routing,
- Manufacturing data creation,
- Communicate with manufacturing for DFM,
- Communicate with Logistics department
- BOM creation and maintenance.
- Upkeep of relevant documentation
You Will Have:
- Qualification in electronics engineering or equivalent and/or able to demonstrate a good understanding and skills of the job.
- Knowledge of the PCB design process from Schematic entry all the way to manufacturing data generation and BOM exports
- 2-4 years of schematic entry and 4+ Layer PCB design.
- Design experience with high speed serial data such as USB , Ethernet and PCIe
- Impedance controlled and EMC sensitive designs.
- Setup and maintenance of DRC.
- Familiar with PCB manufacturing processes.
Technical Skills
- Board design from Schematic entry, Library creation, DRC, Part placement, Import of CAD data, multi-layer routing, EMC principles, manufacturing data generation (gerbers, ODB++)
- Microsoft office tools.
Desirable:
- PADS PCB experience
- Analog and digital circuit design
- Electronic testing
- 3D CAD design
